Navigate to the course you want to copy the content INTO – the target course.
Make Tegrity Classes hidden by clicking the menu button () and selecting "Hide Link". If you do not see the menu button ensure that Edit Mode is set to ON at the top right of the screen by clicking the word Off.
Delete all the side links on the sidebar, with the exception of "Tegrity Classes," which should be hidden. Do this by clicking the menu button () next to each item and selecting Delete > Delete this menu item > Delete.
Now that the course menu only contains the hidden tegrity classes link, look below under Course Management and click Content Collection to expand its menu. In most cases there will be a number directly under the words content collection which is the unique identifier for the target course. In some cases, mainly with merged super-sections, the ID will instead be the same or similar to the course name. Examples of both can be seen in the images below.
Best practice is to highlight this identifier and right-click then select copy (or ctrl + c) it to your clipboard without including any spaces at the beginning or end. The ID needs to be exact or it will not work for the copy, worse you could send content into the wrong course.
Now that you have the target course ID, enter the course that you are copying FROM – the source course.
Under Course Management click Packages and Utilities then Course Copy.
Under section # 1 Select copy type make sure the option Copy Course Materials into an Existing Course is selected.
Under section # 2 called Select Copy options, paste the course ID into the box labeled Destination Course ID. This will be the identifier we copied from steps 4 and 5.
Under Select Course Materials click Select All to select all the checkboxes.
Under section #3 File Attachments, make sure to select the third radio button – the option reads "Copy links and copies of the content (include entire course home folder)"
Navigate back to the target course, there will be a small banner at the top of the course indicating the status of the copy. Once it reads complete either click the refresh button in your browser or click the small refresh button at the top of the course menu ().
You should now see your copied content. If you do not see your content or have any other questions or concerns, please contact technical support and we will be happy to assist you.
